Compounding this is the addition of a simple leveling system, giving your hero of choice access to shiny loot and alternate playstyles. Well, in addition to singleplayer and the competitive multiplayer modes, Retribution also had The Last Stand, a 3-player survival mode where you controlled a single powerful hero and tried your damnedest to make it through 20 waves of various units from the game's six factions. So why am I talking about a 5 year old game? Featuring a wonderful (if short) co-op-enabled campaign, hilariously-unbalanced multiplayer, and an unending stream of buggy gameplay, Retribution was an enjoyable take on the old RTS formula. So back in 2011 Relic Entertainment and the now-defunct THQ released Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution, a stand-alone expansion to 2009's Dawn of War II.
